Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with “Marvel Rivals” and cross-progression, written in the style you requested:

Marvel Rivals Cross Progression: My Disappointing Dive
Alright, so I jumped into Marvel Rivals, super hyped to smash some faces with my favorite heroes. I started playing on my PC because, well, bigger screen, better graphics, you know? Grinded for a few hours, unlocked a cool skin for Spider-Man, and leveled up a bit. Felt good, man.
Then, my buddy was like, “Yo, wanna play on PlayStation tonight?” I was like, “Hell yeah!” But then the question hit me… can I take my sweet Spider-Man skin and my progress with me?
So, I did some digging. Went to the official site, scanned through the FAQs, you name it. Couldn’t find a dang thing about cross-progression. That’s strike one.
Next, I hit up the forums, hoping some other players had figured it out. Found a few threads asking the same question, and the answers were… not what I wanted to hear.

Basically, from what I gathered from those threads and a few articles I stumbled upon, Marvel Rivals doesn’t support cross-progression. Bummer.
That means all the time I spent unlocking stuff on PC? Stuck on PC. If I wanted to play on PlayStation, I’d have to start all over again. No Spidey skin, no levels, nada. Total reset.
I even tried linking my accounts – Steam, PlayStation Network, all that jazz – hoping it would magically work. Nope. Still nothing. It’s like the game pretends the other platform doesn’t even exist.
Honestly, it’s a huge letdown. In this day and age, cross-progression should be a standard thing. I get that it might be complicated to implement, but it really kills the fun when you’re forced to choose a single platform or lose all your progress.
So, yeah, that’s my sad story. I’m still playing Marvel Rivals, but I’m sticking to PC for now. Maybe they’ll add cross-progression in the future, but until then, I’m not holding my breath. Just a heads-up to anyone else thinking about switching platforms: be prepared to start from scratch!
