Okay, so yesterday was kinda productive, lemme break it down for ya.
First thing’s first, I woke up way later than I planned. Like, almost 10 AM. Don’t judge! But I hopped outta bed and made some coffee – gotta have that rocket fuel to get things moving. Then, I sat down and stared at my to-do list, which was, as usual, way too long.
Task one: finally tackle that messy garage. Ugh. I’d been putting it off for weeks. Started by just pulling everything out. It looked even worse spread out on the driveway, honestly. But gotta make a mess to clean a mess, right? I sorted everything into piles: stuff to keep, stuff to donate, and straight-up trash. That took freakin’ forever. Sweated like crazy too. Definitely a workout. Ended up filling like, three trash bags and two boxes for donations. Feels good to get rid of the junk.
Next up, I reorganized what was left in the garage. Put up some shelves I’d been meaning to install for months. Power drill came in handy. I’m no handyman, but I managed to get ’em up without too much trouble. Everything’s actually kinda organized now. I can actually walk in there! Still not perfect, but a huge improvement. That took me most of the afternoon.
After the garage fiasco, I was starving. Whipped up a quick sandwich – turkey and swiss, classic. Sat down and watched some stupid YouTube videos to decompress for a bit. Needed a mental break after all that physical labor.
Evening rolled around: Decided to work on that coding project I’ve been neglecting. It’s a little side hustle thing. Booted up my laptop, opened the project, and immediately realized I’d forgotten half of what I was doing. Spent a good hour just trying to remember where I left off. Seriously, gotta document this stuff better next time.
I managed to fix a bug that was really bugging me (pun intended!). It was a dumb syntax error, but it had me scratching my head for days. Felt like a genius when I finally figured it out. Did some more coding, added a couple of new features. Got into a flow state for a while, which was awesome. Ended up working on it ’til like, 1 AM. Oops.

Overall, a pretty decent day. Got some stuff done, felt productive. Now, to try and do it all again today!
