Alright, let’s talk about that Tiger Woods place in Orlando. Not the newer one down south, but the one in Isleworth everyone knew about years ago. Someone brought it up the other day, and it got me thinking back to a trip I took.

So, I was down in Florida, must’ve been quite a few years back now. We were in the Orlando area, doing the usual theme park stuff with the family. I heard Isleworth wasn’t too far from where we were staying near Windermere. Curiosity got the better of me, you know? I figured, let’s just drive by, see what this famous neighborhood looks like where he used to live.
Trying to Get a Look
Well, that was easier said than done. We drove over towards the Isleworth area. First thing you notice? Gates. Big ones. And security. It’s not the kind of place you can just cruise through to sightsee. Definitely a high-security, gated community. We kind of drove around the edges, the public roads that border it.
What did we see?
- Lots of tall hedges and walls.
- Fancy gates with guard houses.
- The tops of some really huge houses poking over the greenery.
- Very, very manicured lawns and landscaping, even on the outside.
You couldn’t really see his specific house, not from the public roads anyway. It’s all very private, which I guess is the point. We spent maybe twenty minutes just kind of circling around, trying to get a feel for the place. Felt a bit awkward, honestly, like we were rubbernecking.
It wasn’t much of an adventure, really. You can’t get close. You just see the outer shell of extreme wealth and privacy. We didn’t even try to talk our way in or anything crazy like that. Just looked from the outside like curious tourists.

Some Thoughts After
Seeing those walls and gates, it really makes you think. Living like that, completely separated. Sure, it’s probably peaceful, but also kind of isolating? I don’t know. It’s a world away from how most folks live. We just ended up grabbing some lunch nearby and talking about how crazy it must be to live with that level of fame where you need fortress-like security.
So, yeah, that was my ‘experience’ with the Tiger Woods Orlando home. Didn’t see the house itself, just the neighborhood’s impressive defenses. It wasn’t much, but it was a little detour on our trip. Sometimes you just gotta see these things for yourself, even if it’s just a glimpse from the outside.
