So, I wanted to share a bit about this thing with Oliver Liam. It wasn’t exactly a project name, but more about the time I ended up working alongside someone with that name. Funny how collaborations start sometimes.
I remember getting pulled into this task that nobody really wanted to handle. It involved sorting through a whole load of old documentation, trying to piece together a process that wasn’t written down properly anywhere. My manager paired me up with Oliver Liam, said he had some experience with the older systems.
Getting Started
Okay, so the first step was just figuring out what we even had. We gathered all the scattered files and notes we could find. Seriously, it was a pile. Physical folders, digital files scattered everywhere. It looked like a real mountain to climb.
Oliver and I decided to split the initial sorting. I took charge of digitizing the paper stuff and organizing the digital files into some kind of basic structure. Just getting everything in one place, you know? Oliver started reading through the existing digital docs, trying to find any hints about the actual workflow.
The Actual Work Bit

Wrapping It Up
Eventually, after a lot of puzzling things out, we had something that looked like the actual process. We documented it clearly, step-by-step. We even included notes where we were still a bit unsure or where the old process seemed broken.
Working with Oliver Liam turned out okay. We had different ways of tackling the problem – I was more visual with the mapping, he was more detail-oriented with the text – but it worked out. We managed to untangle that mess, which felt pretty good. It was a reminder that sometimes just methodically working through a pile of chaos, piece by piece, is the only way forward.
