My Look into the Scot Squad Crew
Alright, so I found myself watching some reruns of Scot Squad the other evening. Good laugh, always is. But it got me thinking, you know? Who are all these actors? Some faces are familiar, others less so.
So, I decided to actually look it up properly. Didn’t just want a quick glance, wanted to sort of map it out in my head. Grabbed my tablet while the ads were on. First thing, I just typed in “Scot Squad cast” into the search bar. Simple enough.
Loads of results popped up, obviously. I started clicking through a few of the pages. What I was really after was seeing the main players listed out clearly.
Here’s kinda what I found myself noting down, mentally at least:
- Jack Docherty – Aye, Chief Commissioner Cameron Miekelson. He’s the main man, the face you instantly think of. Remembered him from way back on Absolutely.
- Jordan Young and Sally Reid – PC Jack McLaren and PC Sarah Fletcher. They’re a big part of the show, the patrol car duo. Recognised them straight away.
- Grado (Graeme Stevely) – As PC Hugh McKirdy. Hard to miss him, really. Always brings a certain… style.
- Manjot Sumal – PC Surjit Singh. Another one of the regular officers you see about.
- Karen Bartke – Desk Sergeant Karen Ann Millar. Often dealing with the public at the front desk, isn’t she?
- Chris Forbes – PC Charlie McIntosh. Often paired up with McKirdy, I think?
Then you start seeing the others who pop up regularly. The call handlers, the detectives, even some recurring ‘members of the public’. It was interesting just scrolling through the names and faces, putting names to the characters I’ve been watching on and off.
Didn’t take long, maybe ten, fifteen minutes of poking around different sites. Just wanted to satisfy my curiosity, really. It’s funny how you watch something for ages but don’t always know who everyone is. Felt good to finally put the names to the uniforms, so to speak. Job done.
