My grandson, he’s all crazy about this INDYCAR stuff. He keeps talkin’ about Road America this, Road America that. This race, they call it the XPEL Grand Prix. Sounds like somethin’ you’d put on your hair, this XPEL stuff. Anyway, he says it’s a big deal, this race in Wisconsin.

Well, seems like it’s the main event, this XPEL Grand Prix. This year, they say it’s the seventh big race of the whole INDYCAR season, whatever that means. INDYCAR 2024 season, they call it. They go round and round, 55 laps, I hear. That’s a lot of goin’ around. They say it’s 220.77 miles. My old truck wouldn’t make it that far without a fuss!
They got all these fellas, these drivers, with names I can’t hardly pronounce. One of ’em, Scott Dixon, won somethin’ last week in Detroit. Now they’re all headin’ to this Road America place. Seems like they’re always racin’ somewhere, these INDYCAR folks.
