Well, let me tell ya, that Martin Truex Jr., he’s a good one, ain’t he? I seen him racin’ on the TV, and boy, that Darlington track, it’s somethin’ else. He sure knows how to handle that car, I tell ya what. That boy can drive.

That Darlington Raceway, it’s a tough one. But Martin, he done won there a few times. He won the Southern 500, that big race they got. It’s a real important race. He beat them all. I remember one time, he won the Goodyear 400 there, too. Just flat out beat ’em all, left ’em in the dust, he did.
He’s won a whole bunch of races. Thirty, I heard! That’s a lot of racin’. That’s a lot of wins. That boy don’t give up! He just keeps on winning. He was in this race, Cook Out Southern 500. That sounds like a good time, good eatin’ and racin’. Wish I coulda been there. But the race is the most important.

He’s a Winner, That Martin Truex Jr.
He was leadin’ that race for, oh, I don’t know, a whole heap of laps. Two hundred and forty-eight laps, they said. Out of, like, two hundred and ninety-three. That’s most of the race! He was just out there in front, showin’ ’em how it’s done. And he did show them. He was just flyin’ around that track. Like a chicken with its head cut off, but, ya know, a fast chicken. A really fast chicken that knows how to drive a race car.
I seen it on the TV, him just zoomin’ past everyone. He’s got that number, what is it, nineteen car? Yeah, the nineteen. You see that nineteen car, you know it’s Martin Truex Jr. comin’ through. He sure is something. He’s a good boy. He just keeps on winnin’. I reckon he’s got a whole pile of them trophies at home. Bet his mama’s proud. I’d be proud if my boy was out there winnin’ all them races. That Martin Truex Jr. Darlington, what a place to win!
That Darlington Track Is Somethin’
They say that Darlington track is called “Too Tough to Tame.” Well, Martin, he tamed it, didn’t he? He sure showed them who’s boss. He just goes out there and drives his heart out. You can tell he loves it. He’s a natural, that’s what he is. He just knows how to race. He must have been born to do it. Yep, born to race on that Darlington track. He loves it there. That’s where he can show what he can do.
I bet he’s got a lot of fans. I’m one of ’em. I always root for him when he’s racin’. He’s fun to watch. He makes it excitin’. You never know what’s gonna happen, but you know he’s gonna give it his all. Every single time. He never quits. He always tries to win. You gotta respect that. And he is a good friend with Dale Earnhardt Jr. They are always together. I saw them on the TV.
He’s Good Friends with Dale Jr., Too
And you know, that Dale Earnhardt Jr., he’s a good one, too. He and Martin are good friends, I hear. They’re always talkin’ and laughin’ together. It’s good to have friends in that racin’ world. It’s a tough business, I bet. But you got your friends there to help you. You can always lean on your friends. They will help you. So you have to be good to them. That’s what I always say.
They say Dale Jr. talks about Martin on his, what do you call it, his podcast? Yeah, that’s it. He tells stories about them, and what they do when they ain’t racin’. That is good to know. They are just regular people. They go to have fun together when there is no race. Sounds like they have a good time. That is good. I wish I can listen to that. Maybe I will try.

So yeah, that Martin Truex Jr., he’s a good racer. And he’s good at Darlington. He’s won there a bunch. And he’s got a lot of wins all over. He’s a winner, that’s for sure. And he’s a good friend to Dale Jr. What more could you ask for? He’s just a good ol’ boy, doin’ what he loves. And doin’ it well. Can’t beat that. I hope he keeps winnin’. I will keep watching him. And I am sure he will win more races at Darlington. That’s his track. He owns it.
