Used 2016 Aston Martin: Is It Worth Buying Today?

Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with a 2016 Aston Martin:

Used 2016 Aston Martin: Is It Worth Buying Today?

So, I’ve always been a car guy. And Aston Martin? That’s, like, dream car territory. I finally got my hands on a 2016 model, and let me tell you, it was an experience. I wanted to write it all down so I took some notes while I was checking this car out.

Getting Started

First thing I did was just walk around it. Seriously, you gotta appreciate the lines on these things. It’s not just a car; it’s a piece of art. I spent a good 20 minutes just looking at it from every angle, making sure the panels were all lined up and there weren’t any weird gaps or anything. I’ve learned the hard way that sometimes beauty hides some ugly problems.

Under the Hood (and Everywhere Else)

Next, I popped the hood. Now, I’m no mechanic, but I know my way around an engine bay. I was looking for any signs of leaks, you know, oil, coolant, anything that shouldn’t be there. Checked the hoses, made sure they weren’t cracked or brittle. I even gave the belts a little tug to check for looseness.

  • Checked all fluid levels (oil, coolant, brake fluid, etc.).
  • Looked for any corrosion on the battery terminals.
  • Inspected the wiring for any fraying or damage.

Taking it for a Spin

This is where the fun really began. Started the engine, and man, that sound! It’s a deep rumble that just makes you grin. I let it warm up for a bit, listening for any unusual noises, ticks, or anything that sounded “off.”

Then, I took it for a drive. I started slow, paying attention to how the steering felt, how the brakes responded. Gradually, I picked up the speed, testing the acceleration and handling. I took it on some winding roads to see how it handled corners, and I even found a quiet stretch of road to really open it up (safely, of course!).

The Inside Scoop

The interior is top-notch, as one should expect. The seats are amazing, I adjusted it to my fit and I felt snugged in there pretty good. Checked that all of the electronics worked fine. I didn’t want to run into a dead button or switch, so I tried them all.

Wrap Up

After a good few hours of poking, prodding, and driving, I felt like I had a pretty good handle on the car. I took a ton of notes, and now, writing this all down I relived the experince! This 2016 Aston Martin? Definitely lived up to the * was a blast getting to know this car, and it’s an experience I won’t soon forget.
