Today, I wanna share something called “mrspenny”. Sounds a bit odd, right? Well, I stumbled upon it and decided to give it a whirl.

First, I googled what “mrspenny” actually is. Seems like it’s some kind of personal finance tool, or maybe a budgeting app. I wasn’t totally clear, so I figured the best way to find out was to just try it myself.
I went to what I thought was the main website. It took a bit of digging since, a simple search shows many things. No problem.
Once I landed on the site, it was time to sign up. It asked for the usual stuff – name, email, password. I filled it all in, clicked the “create account” button.
Then I was in! The interface looked pretty clean, not too overwhelming. There were sections for things like income, expenses, and savings goals. I started poking around, trying to figure out how everything worked.
Setting Up My Budget
- I entered my monthly income first. That was pretty straightforward.
- Next, I started adding my expenses. Rent, utilities, groceries, the whole nine yards. It was a bit tedious, but I wanted to get a good picture of where my money was going.
- I also set up some savings goals. Like save money for traving.
After I put in all my info, the app generated some charts and graphs. It was kinda cool to see everything visualized like that. I could clearly see where I was overspending (oops, too much on takeout!).

I’ve only been using it for a little while, but it seems promising. I’m hoping it’ll help me get a better handle on my finances. It’s definitely more engaging than just staring at a spreadsheet! Will check how to use more of it, and see if that helps!
