So, I was messing around with this song, “Half Past Five,” right? I got this idea to make a little project inspired by it, playing with the whole “you only call me when…” theme.
First, I listened to the song like a million times. Seriously, I just kept hitting repeat, trying to really get the feel of it, you know? I wanted to understand not just the lyrics, but the whole vibe.
My Dumb Little Process
- Brainstormed: After listening, I just grabbed a piece of paper and started jotting down all the things that came to mind. Words, phrases, random ideas, anything that felt connected to the song’s mood. It was a total mess, honestly.
- Narrowed it down: I looked at my messy brainstorm and tried to find some common threads. Was it about loneliness? Neediness? Maybe just bad timing? I circled the stuff that seemed to fit together.
- Built a Scenario：Then,I started to build an idea with the core that I thought fit well.I tried to complete the sentence like”you only call me when…”.It was so fun.
- Tried to get fancy：I even try to get fancy with that *,It’s not easy to make it rhyme,but It’s worthy.
It’s nothing groundbreaking, I * is half-baked and * I guess that’s the point, right? Just messing around with an idea because it popped into my head. It’s all about having a bit of fun and seeing where it goes.
